Investigates areas of concern for epilepsy related practice management and provides clinically relevant information to practicing epileptologists. Concentrating on patient care, communications and best practice areas. Oversees the Practice Management Course.

General Description:
Composed of a Chairperson appointed by the President and not less than eight active members of the Society.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Addresses organizational issues such as members who are interested in discussing practice-related issues.
- Disseminates drug alerts and other important practice related information to AES membership.
- Discusses any practice related issues that arise from membership and provide proposals to the Board.
- Develop a liaison with Epilepsy.com
- Work with Guidelines Committee on how AES can contribute to creation or dissemination of guidelines. (Workgroup met in 2005 and identified recommendations. Resulted in creation of a Task Force combining Practice and Guidelines Committees.)
